Wild Thing Gets A Dog went public at the Edinburgh International Book Fair at it’s annual Schools Gala Day. I was talking to a marquee full of school children and their teachers, all six hundred of them (that’s children, not teachers!) and introducing them to Wild Thing, Kate and their new pet, Hound Dog. It was a great session, ending with a group of volunteers acting out a new story we invented about Wild Thing and Edinburgh’s one-o’clock gun.
